Des Moines Public schools launches COVID-19 dashboard with 85 high-quality situations

Des Moines Public schools has tracked 85 high quality circumstances of COVID-19 amongst its group of workers and students — together with 23 new situations Monday, in keeping with the district's new coronavirus dashboard.

The dashboard can be up-to-date each day using self-mentioned data from team of workers and households.

As of Monday, forty personnel contributors and forty five college students have tested high-quality. That includes 15 fundamental faculty, 12 core faculty and 17 high faculty students.

The district tracks a number of ailments including strep throat, whooping cough and the flu with the Polk County fitness department, but COVID-19 is the only one it tracks publicly, Roeder referred to. 

"Our plans are to retain this on-line for youngsters long it's vital," he talked about.

The webpage is expected to be "up for the foreseeable future, sadly," he said. 

Des Moines schools joins a few Iowa school districts in posting the variety of cases on-line.
